That really sucks Dan. I can get CBS in my room, and some mornings I can catch a bit of news when I'm getting ready. I've been hearing 'WordCom" too much. That and "Stock market down another hundred(s) points" too much. But things don't stay down for long. You can always look ahead to good times when it is all over.
I wish I could say more, but I've never been worried about a layoff before. Needless to say my job is pretty 'secure' for the next 3 and a half years.
. . . y'know Dan come to think of it. . . when I was at MEPPS, there a was a 41 year old prior service (infantry) joining back up after what must have been forever; judging by the length of his hair. . . (even showed me some pictures of him in Pannama)
On second thought things will never get that bad for you. Keep your head and your great attitude, with those two things you can face anything.
