Seemed to take forever, and Friday was the longest day -- but once it was done, the fact that it was Friday already surprised me.
Lori was my net, and I was hers. The things she accomplished in the short time she was here were remarkable. A hard worker (who giggled incessantly), she was on vacation yesterday and had to be notified by phone. She’ll be in Monday to clean out her office. What she said, though, just about floored me.
Speaking on the phone with Dana, our supervisor, she said, “So you an Dan are okay? Well, you guys hang in there, and I really do hope this helps the company.”
Class.
Carolyn was Dana’s net, as she will likely be taking on some of Lori’s tasks.
Jeff was Stacy’s and Rocky’s net, working the user authentication tables. Well, at lest Stacy and Rocky can still bounce ideas off each other, and I’ve still got Dana.
