Positive assertiveness
I find that positive assertiveness is the key to dealing with all potentially troubling scenarios.
When the chips are down one must always be chipper ;-)
The market will absorb all those who are displaced (provided they are not over 55 - when they get hit with age discrimination stuff:(
Like an evergrowing bit of play-doh* when it is torn about, little pieces get reassimilated into the smaller pieces and then combine to form yet larger pieces.
The little pieces just have to chase any piece larger than themselves.
I'm sure all will work out. Even the most damnable situation is the source of many lessons for the astute, and a well of experience all.
