My department head is feeling pretty shaken now. He says his résumé is all polished, waiting. The Admin cuts are supposed to be Monday. Pretty sure he'll make it through. He's a good man, and a fighter for the department. His boss, though, another fighter, has reported similar feelings regarding his career, also with résumé in-hand.
We'll see what happens,
