Of course none of this really matters, because there are streetlights along West Fifth Avenue in Anchorage. One of many conditions NOT available in Alaska, though, is the hard vacuum of space, which precludes the occurrence of liquid water to form his little crystals. The H2O water (along with several other elements) is out-gassed, not released as liquid. It is out-GASSED.
Folks, there are no arguments to win here. Dan Apted is apparently trolling boards for the simple sake that he, like Clarissa, can, and must, explain it all. Unlike Clarissa, however, he has decided to forego the need for any scientific facts in the matter, and simply follows his own, personal, relentless truth -- a common error among the ill-informed of the world.
