I don't know why you are going to such extremes to promulgate this theory... the fact is comet tails are due to shedding of material due to heating by the sun... extensive spectroscopy has been done on comets and has found the tail to be real. Your argument breaks down very quickly. Comets shed their material but mostly only when they visit the inner solar system. Do you honestly think that the effects that your "theory" would entail would be missed? As far as I can tell from your post implies that the tail of a comet is due to specular reflection- there is no way to explain the tail always pointing away from the sun using specular reflection....
Oh hell why am I bothering... look educate yourself...
I am not discouraging speculation, but it needs to be educated speculation... The most inspiring writing I have seen was by Authur Schuester who wrote in an issue of Nature in august _1898_ about the possibility of antimatter... He (I am pretty sure of this) coined the term "anti-matter" ..... His letter was a speculative daydream that went like this... if there is positive and negative electricity, and positive and negative magnetim why not negative matter....
this was decades before Dirac postulated the possibility of antimatter, scheuster speculated that the tails of comets were anti matter streaming away from the comet because matter and anti-matter repelled....
he did live to see the discovery of anti-matter, but just barely... He was a very visionary man, he based his speculation on the best that he could find.... but you have so much more to study, you could have seen that your "theory" was silly if you had taken the time....
