I don't know enough about comets to comment effectively here, although I do know there is such a thing as solar wind (lunar experiments picked it up, among others.)
However, whether your theory is right or wrong, I like to see people trying to poke holes in established ideas. This is how really new and important scientific ideas start out. Remember continental drift? Keep thinking!
