I am not only educated on comet theory, I am also educated and experienced with Ice Fog (50 years worth). Something the Knarly old farts who have laid out the theories on comets everybody accepts as fact are undoubtedly not experienced with. Here is a little taste of education for you. If you can shed the old thories for a few minutes, look at the cause of Ice Fog and see if you can understand the similarity in its origins with the sublimation process which occurs when comets get close to the sun. I will try to find some photographs of the ice fog phenomenon to show you comet tails right here on earth.
