The nature of comets has been studied by tens of thousands of HIGHLY educated scientists, they used multi-million dollar space probes and powerful telescopes to determine conclusively that comets shed dust and gas and that material is concentrated in the tail.... BUT WAIT! STOP THE PRESSES! Some uneducated yahoo in Alaska has disproved it all simply by staring at street lights in Alaska!
