thinking more long term than that.
I was thinking more in terms of outliving our star the sun. This would involve the human spices surviving in some form or another, whatever creatures we evolve into, for hundreds of millions of years. Maybe even billions. Even then we will have to learn to go to other star systems, Unless of course we learn how to stabilize and refuel the sun. Which is easier. Which is more likely. This kind of stuff comes to me while taking a shower, or as in this case, just before falling asleep at night. :-)
