The ongoing suffering of the people of Iraq is entirely the fault of Saddam Hussein, and of the Iraqis who don't care enough to remove him from power and put a decent government into place in their country. Americans would never let such a monster run their country; why don't Iraqis seem to care more? The UN brokered oil sales for Iraq have provided billions of $$$ for food and medicine for the Iraqis. It's not our damn fault the money isn't being spent the right way.

"the execution of this woman isn't much different than the Texas electric chair"???? Are you seriously proposing that the legal standards are comparable, that this woman received every bit as fair a trial in the Taliban controlled Afghanistan as she would have in Texas?? I find that astounding.
