Poor Bowser, the dog don't get no respect. Can't say as I'm much impressed by the ad homineum chestnut "Your first mistake was to assume that Bowser could get anything right.".
I'm also not much impressed when you mischaracterize what I wrote in an attempt to get traction on it. I never said I'm satisfied by Saddam's claims. What's at issue is the outcome of the inspections. What if the inspectors give Iraq a clean bill of health? Bush has already made it clear that it doesn't matter, that he's going to have his war no matter what. I've said many times that Bush's game-playing and lack of good faith is the issue. "When are you going to stop building weapons of mass destruction" is as lame as "when are you going to stop beating your wife". Bush tries to portray himself as a "man of peace", and claims that he considers war a last result.
Bush is lying. And not about a little nookie in the Oval Office. He's lying about war and peace and long-term national policy. This matters.
