Flawed premise
Tom, I think we're narrowing-in on the basic contradiction in your position. On the one hand, you acknowledge that Bush is being dishonest about Iraq. But then, on the other hand, you say you support a war with Iraq based on Bush's lies. How can you make a judgment like that based on information you know to be false?
You keep trying to force the debate back to what you see as a binary choice between waging war on Saddam, and surrender. But I reject that "when are you going to stop beating your wife" artificial choice. The issue on the table here, and in many of my recent threads, has been Bush's lack of honesty and integrity. I can never support Bush's war if I don't trust Bush himself. Everything flows from that.
