Maybe time to just hunker down and see what happens...
Arguments here are going in circles. Blix is going in circles. Saddam and Bush are considered equivalent as to their credibility. Saddam's past means nothing. The evidence of the frightened scientists means nothing. Any evidence that is laid out by the Bush administration is "all lies." Saddam deserves the benefit of any doubts. Groundwork is being laid by opponents so that any evidence found after the fact will be "all lies." Apparently the entire Mideast, including Israel, can go to hell as long as Saddam does not actually attack the United States.
I'm not sure this entire Iraq question is even arguable any more while working around these premises.
