So if Saddam does a thing, this means it's OK to follow his lead?
Then I guess I will be flying my flag upside down from now on, because my nation is indeed in deep distress and grave peril for its civic soul.
The fact that there are inspectors in Iraq right now indicates that the world at large suspects that Saddam is not in compliance, and wishes to keep the pressure on until something cracks. Why the first thing that cracks must be American patience rather than Saddam's smokescreen is beyond me.
