I'm saying a Mars plan can be adapted to help a Moon plan or even jump start it at little cost. I'm not saying that a Mars plan is the best way to return to the Moon other than by giving the space program overall more direction and focus. The reverse argument that returning to the Moon is the best way to get to Mars or that we can design one machine best for both are the points others seem to be trying to make. Mars most likely needs access to LEO it does not need the Moon.
