The Problem With Baby Steps Is Risk Of Incompletion

We've seen support falter before. I wouldn't count on any plan over 10 years making it. There is also the issue of inflating costs such as the bloated ISS cost. Extra time and extra money are both support killers. Sucking it up for the sake of the long term may actually endanger it.
