Yes I do trust that opinion Don or at least give it some credibility, because I've heard it reinforced by many since then. It was a schock when I first heard it because my opinion of Cronkite was the same as the general opinion you site. Have you read anything about how Vietnam Vets felt about their treatment at home? I don't expect my second hand account to be considered an overpowering piece of evidence. I'm just saying that few American's are given a free pass on credibility and Cronkite shouldn't either.
