Over the years we have done this and that and we have sometimes strayed over the line. In the long run we have always recognized our errors and we have not compounded the mistakes and become a police state.
At the present time you and X number of others feel that we are over the line. When enough people agree with you we will make a decision to do something about it.
On another page you mention the execution of retarded persons by the force and power of the state. This could be easily solved by removing the power of the state to impose capital punishment. Me and X number of others have favored this for a long time. When enough people agree something will be done about it.
There have already been some court ordered pull-backs from TPA involving US citizens and I am personally confident that we are not in an uncontrolled slide down the slope by our treatment of non-citizens in these perilous times.
