Yeah, I see what you mean. Comparing X million dead vs Y million dead gets kind of academic.

I guess I still have something of a knee-jerk reaction to Hitler's name, even though as you say he's just "one of the pack," so to speak. Both my parents were in the Canadian services during the war, my dad in the European theater, so the struggle with Germany's always had a mystique for me.
