If you are suggesting that it's just fine to lock up human beings, without being charged, for months and months, without contact with their families (who suffer their absence just as much as blue-eyed Christian families would suffer the absence of a family member), in the tender care of people some of whom apparently need anger management classes, and with precious little to no help in somehow moving their situation forward, because these human beings don't have the august rank of citizen of the United States, being mere human beings, then I suggest you look at the morally repulsive postition that that is.
They're being treated better than they have to be? Oh, fine. They're being fed. I'm delighted that we are so enlightened. So were the American hostages in Tehran, only everyone knew their names.

Yes, these incidents are being investigated. Also, possible evidence has been destroyed. Their investigation does nothing for the victims except to vindicate them.
Number Three:
I'll say to you what I said to Ed: Of course you don't want to set the comparison aside. It's a wonderful distraction from the nuts and bolts into the realm of outrage.
If you wish to keep threads "pure", I suggest you do so in all future threads to which you contribute.
