Watch out Tom, I saw Michael Moore do this same attack on the O’Reilly show. The Democrats are trying this new approach, “Would you send your child to war to die.â€
Or course no one wants their children to die (I’ll stay away from the abortion topic, which some seem to have no problem killing their offspring)
When my son turns 18, if he wants to join the service, then that is his choice. I would be very proud of him. I tried joining myself, so I understand the desire to serve ones country. If my child died doing this, I would feel sad, but I would still be proud of him. There are far worse things to die of and to die for.
Somebody’s child died for every American’s freedom. Our freedom was won by the death of many parent’s children. It is easy to forget this, as is happed over two hundred years ago and we enjoy freedom at the cost of their lives.
