That I haven't said that Afganistan was a mistake (nor do I think it). I do say that Iraq was an opportunistic invasion of a country that had nothing to do with 9/11. It has nothing to do with politics. It has everything to do with (lack of) integrity and (cynical) leadership.

Your last paragraph wants me to examine the period after the invasion of Afganistan and concentrate on fall of '01? I'm not going to try to figure out what that's supposed to mean. If you clarify for me, I'll give it a go.
