So Saudi Arabia is next on your hit list Tom?

Cause that's where the preponderence of the terrorists in those planes came from Tom, not Iraq. As a matter of fact, not a one of those wacked out individuals came from the country we went to "war" with or is that a concept that you simply can't grasp?

No, it was simply the easiest target, the one we already had a beef with, the country that tried to kill Bush's daddy, the one we'd already decimated and removed the real hard core weapons from in the first Gulf War. There was no risk of primary military failure in this latest adventure because we knew we had overwhelming military power. If there'd been any doubt, Rumsfield would've bowed to the critics and created a huge force to take them on, a decision I'm sure has haunted him since with the total collapse of society and infrastructure there right after the main shooting stopped.

I have news for you bud, yeah you're right a good portion of the Islamic world hates us and wants great numbers of us dead, but the truth to the matter is that number has only increased since our incursion into Iraq. We're perceived more now as bullies, pushing our weight and our views into areas we had no business in, pretending we care about the average Iraqi civilian, when in fact very few of us give a rat's ass about any of them. Your rhetoric gives you away Tom and all the little paranoid people in here. You put this wall up that separates everyone else in the world from your Christian, conservative, cowboy, us vs. them mentality.

I have continually tried in here to find some common ground between the extremes of viewpoints in here but find that the attacks continually come from your side and I have very little tolerance left for the close-minded pissants of this forum. Your side has lost the debate clearly with its mean-spirited, God-is-on-our-side, attack-dog responses to the more caring people in here. Go hide in your bunkers with your assault rifles, sucking down your anti-anthrax pills, reading your wacked-out blogs and leave the rest of us people that understand that the US, in all its might and glory, is simply another country in a vast and complex world and that we need to be humble and caring neighbors, not some hall monitor in a tank.
