You are absolutely correct that there should be no gap between voting and draft age. I like it even better that there's no draft.

What's ironic about that is that some Democrats miss the draft the most, since it was a prime weapon against the military. It has not gone unnoticed that the Vietnam protest movement dried up pretty much as soon as the draft ended.
