For the rest of us to sacrifice - jobs, health care, opportunity for advancement, spouses and children - to a war based on absence of intelligence, is just fine with the radcons (I like Mary Anne's phrase, even if it's not original to her).
Sacrifice, you may have noticed, is OK with such as Tom when it's "privatized" (or, God forbid, "faith-based") - which means it can be declined with impunity by the morally bankrupt, leaving the fiscally bankrupt holding the empty bag.
I'm beginning to consider volunteering to hold one of Tom's favorite bogey-men - that metaphorical "gun" he's so fond of fearing - to an appropriate head.
