Facts: Like Newsweek saying US troops burned the Koren (Qur'an) when they did not, which results in Afgan violence.
Bottom line: The media need to check their sources and their facts before they run with a story. Too many times they jump the gun trying to beat their competitors to bring us breaking news.
Back in the 1980’s when I took journalism classes at my college, they used to teach verifying your sources and checking your facts was a must. It was inexcusable not to. I guess they don’t teach that anymore.
