Just for shits and giggles, say we start with everyone capable of scoring at the 99th percentile of the [name your favorite] intelligence test, and work down to the 49th? That would blow the Zone away completely, except for Lee...

No more science, no more math, no more engineering, or medicine -- most of the art would be gone, too.
