I have just spent two goddamn hours of my life reconstructing this subthread for the sake of preserving words out of principle, even though I wish most of them would just go away.

If you will read my response to Daniel, above, you will notice that I moved the entire portion of the thread to retain the integrity of the conversation, not because everything in it deserves to be here on its own merit. I have also linked the subthread back to its root on both sides. This was such fun, I could do it all day.

If you want me to move your little remark back to OT, where it will have no context whatsoever (as the post it replies to will remain on Flame) and so will make even less sense than it does here, fine. I can dredge it up out of the 3-page Word document I had to create to move everything within context.

As for the standards of civility on OT, they are mine. Like it or lump it. Complain if you want. I wouldn't mind a job evaluation. If the community wants to get rid of me as moderator of OT, they can vote me out and I won't mind a bit. Maybe you would like the job and I can spend my spare time telling you how to do it. And you can have the additional fun of Tech and Bowser singing along. Each in his own key, of course.
