Maybe you want to talk to an imam.
Someone nearby. Someone who can talk to you about Islam, what it is and what it isn't, and why there aren't more political speakers from the clergy that we hear on TV or read about in the papers.
How many imams speak on TV, anyway? How many publish? How much coverage do they get? How many of us understand Arabic? How many imams preach in that language? How many in English? How many in others?
I suspect there is more discussion going on than we hear, because our ears are not turned toward it.
Re: rearming the IRA: Why not? Because enough people have died, and enough people's hearts and minds have been injured and warped. It's time the Irish allow themselves to turn their considerable gifts to other pursuits.
