The origins of English in Anglo-Saxon, Norman French, Latin, Greek, and various Celtic dialects.

Shall I give you a breakdown, or can we stipulate that the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts?

I will not contest your mythological taxonomy. I've probably read at least as much mythology as you have. (One exception: "Jehovah" was not really a Biblical name for the God of the Old Testament. It came along later, from a less than accurate reading of the Hebrew by Christians.) What you have failed to include is the development of philosophy and ethics which both influenced religions that grew from the mythological origins you cite.

You have also followed in the long Western tradition of distorting the biography of Mohammed. You have followed the Soviet model to do this: instead of calling him "evil" in the earlier tradition, you have called him "mentally ill". When the gulags became known and were attacked as unjust and inhumane, Soviet authorities sent dissenters to mental institutions, because they had to be crazy to think that way. Religious people, especially their leaders, must all be crazy according to your assessment.

You have also suggested that the slaves were Mohammed's main followers, which is manifestly untrue. I suggest that you have read very little about Mohammed from primary sources.

Why don't you suggest that Jesus was mentally ill? Ritual cannibalism, playing with dead bodies, refusing to speak to Pilate, who was looking for an excuse not to kill him... I mean, the man was clearly nuts, wasn't he? And St. Paul only started preaching the Gospel after he fell off his horse onto his head. Clearly, brain damage. But that wouldn't sit too well with your political allies, would it?
