My despair stems from the leadership of Islam not taking a strong stand and using their leadership to articulate a message of both peace and brotherhood. Perhaps I am looking for too much here, but the leadership that works best has always seemed to be based on precept and example. I look at the wonder of Ghandi gee's example.
The reaction of the King and people of Jordan gives me hope and reason to expect more from the Islamic leadership.
