If you get past the usual "Leeism," I don't see a lot of Christian fundamentalists blowing things up on behalf of their religion lately. Even Timothy McVeigh wasn't a fundamentalist. About the most you can come up with is abortion clinic bombings and attacks, which have killed a total of seven people since the 70s.
There does seem to be a specific problem with the Muslim religion in recent times. You don't have to look very hard at a worldwide list of acts of terrorism to get that. The fact that millions of Muslims are reasonable and tolerant doesn't change that. What it does mean is that the religion has to somehow get past that. Maybe they can. Christianity had its own dark periods.
