Is that they don't even come up with anything new...Every "new movie" these days is a remake of a previous movie.
So they wany us to shell out for remade garbage like "War of the Worlds", "Fun with Dick & Jane", "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "Oceans Eleven", "The Manchurian Candidate", etc...
Why go to a theater...You've seen it all before.
Gee, I think I'll re-write the book "Old man and the Sea" and pretend that it is all new.
And when they do come out with something new, its just the same-old crap but with some force-fed pop message like "cowboys can be gay and that's ok".
Gee, how about a movie about gay Cuban drug dealers...Instead of "Scarface", this remake could be...Well, I'll let you fill in the blanks...
