The Dutch article acnowledges the terrorist origins and links of Hamas. And also mentions the IRA amd PLO.

While we're at it, the legitimate government of modern Israel originated as a terrorist organistion - the Stern Gang - in British Palestine. Does that mean we should never deal with them in any way?

The "war on terror" can be misused to oppress genuine aspirations of populations, as well as rooting-out insane cults...
