You can have it your way on that score. I am not advocating anything except the premise that when you play, you play for keeps. If you can't get the people behind that prerequisite then war is not an option.

Believe me, there is a point at which the people will be ready for it.

It is also not valid to compare the Blitzkreig to our current capabilities vs any mid-eastern country. If the Germans had as much air superiority over UK as we have on the third world (discounting nukes entirely), they would have unconditionally surrendered after 2 weeks.

Or not, but they would have been toast either way.
