Heck, I have a number of relatives in educational careers from teacher, principal to university professor. All are leftist, some hard left socialists. Painting with a broad brush was fine for the purpose of the post. For all those innocent teachers who have never wanted to influence the way kids think about things or turn them into "progressive thinkers", don't like their unions politics and voted for Bush, Reagan or Nixon, the fine nuance brush for painting the statistical teaching minority is in the cabinet next to the finger paints, the bristles stiff and dry from disuse.
They are more than welcome to paint themselves a pretty picture they like and really most are not going to be offended by my posts because they understand and are are ostracized and discriminated against by their liberal brethren, daily, in both small ways and large.
