I don't find it surprising that other instances of perverted behavior are cited.

Wouldn't either side do the same? Aren't they just saying that perverts come in all persuasions?

The "mommy he did it too" thing doesn't apply unless it is being used to excuse bad behavior. I have zero tolerance for this kind of thing regardless of politics.

My opinion is based solely on the link you provided. I have not been absorbed with this story and If anyone is saying they should get a pass on this because of previous scandals involving Dems they are fos.

BTW, the tone and participation in this thread is refreshing and encouraging so far.
