I've seen several people make the argument that even if the kid was 17 at the time that Foley didn't break the law. Because the law against making "sexual advances" toward anyone under the age of 18 over the internet wasn't even written at that time.

So this entire mess might just be a sordid fiction.

Hell, I don't even know if the IM's are real.

All I know is that the Democrats are loving every bit of it a little too much. And they are the same hippocrits who jumped up and down that the whole Clinton mess was a "private matter" that "shouldn't matter".

I think the wheels are turning and all of this is going to come back and haunt the Democrats.

Yes Foley is a scumbag. So is Clinton.

Most Republicans I know will willingly admit that. But Most Democrats I know Can't make the same statement. Why?
