Like a baseball game when the pitcher pretends he doesn't see the 1st base runner leading off...and then he turns to tag him, timing and pretending not to care is very important.
The media are about to go with three "damning" stories against Foley, which they will stretch over the next week or two releasing tidbits at a time as though they are just gathering the info, even though all the details are already known and have been known for many months and even years.
1. He appeared drunk outside the page housing, tried to get in and was turned away.
2. Foley had consensual sex with a 21 year old male, former page.
3. Arizona's 'openly gay' GOP US representative knew of page e-mail impropriety of Foley's, complained to higher ups and nothing was done.
That's going to be the DNC and media's push over the next week, while scouring for any other 'gay' stuff to smear folks with and promoting gay jokes, gay-bashing and all the things you've made part of your crusade to eliminate.
It seems like your 'stay out of peoples bedroom!' party only wants to do so when its their bedroom and their pro-gay stance takes a violent turn for the worse when the homosexual is some 54 year old republican off the democrat plantation.
If Foley blows his brains out before the two weeks are over, the media will have a great finale to their story about a pathetic and obviously miserable old man who has sex with young men and is attracted to teen-age boys. Somebody's gonna get a Pulitzer for the tell all tale.
Foley deserves a lot of flack, but as usual the witch-hunt will destroy other folks' lives too.
That's the way it goes I guess, just surprised you would jump on the bandwagon so eagerly.
