We have the most important part of the solution in hand
...and that is removing Republicans from power now and Bush in 2008, if not sooner.
No solution is possible as long as Bush is solely concerned with protecting his pride and Republican power. Before we can do anything to make progress fighting terrorism, we have to get rid of the fools who believe that stubbornly clinging to a failed policy is somehow a sign of virtue. "Stay the course" is not a plan, it's a mutual suicide pact.
