Now that you've put it in the public record, you could be prosecuted for the violation, if any exists, and if anyone who cares can track you down and identify you without a reasonable doubt.

A piece of advice: if you think you have broken the law, don't say so in public. Don't waive your Fifth Amendment rights in casual conversation.
