No idiot. Take a look at the post by ER if you want to see a way to bring your ideas out after a tragedy and not walk all over people's sensibilities and pain. The man has enough compassion not to dump his views down your throat. He simply tells you the process his evolution has gone through to have come to the understanding he has about the issue.
