Are you a native of Alabama?

I have been in the state a few times, usually going to Georgia or Florida. I even swam on one of your beaches. Birmingham seemed like a nice city.

I think life in a small Alabama town would be quiet and peaceful. I could handel that.

The Confederate States was an interesting idea. Each state was pretty much its own little country. I think it was similar to the European Union.

However, had the South won, both the USA and CSA would have been weaker to foreign invaders IMO. I am glad we have held together as a Union.
