When I moved here 30 years ago...this is exactly how they were!!!

I am finding them to be a little more compassionate as of late...at least no one is telling me "YANKEE GO HOME" anymore.

But then...I do not TELL anyone I am from NY...and IF I do, I qualify it with..."NOT the CITY"...A small, po'dunk, humble, hard working, conservative, church going, mom and pop, family oriented, Baptist, apple pie, baseball, cross wearing, Miller beer drinking, red, white and blue, one star loving town.;)...all the while humming "The Yellow Rose Of Texas"
