At 10 y.o. I aspired to be an eating machine.
If there were such a thing as an 80 ounce steak with blue cheese sauce I would have ordered it. But usually all restaurants had was a 16 ounce steak (1 pound). I compensated by getting an extra large baked potato (with butter), fries or onion rings, cole slaw, vanilla shake, and of course I usually trippled-up at the all-you-can-eat soft ice cream dispenser. I was a pig. Fortunately my stomach had a limited volume, and I never put on more than 30 pounds more than my ideal weight. And I shed that extra weight pretty easily.
