Boy Tom, I keep hearing you tell us about "all these people" that believe the US to be the worst place on Earth and I've yet to hear a single person say that directly.

I would bet I speak for everyone else on here and within my list of friends and acquaintances that have ever risen in anger against horrific things governmental leaders have done and yet I'm certain not a one of us believe we live in the worst country on Earth.

You and your bunch so confuse legitimate outrage at individual acts with hatred of the country as a whole and it's the furthest thing from the truth. As much as I have days where I drive down the road during rush hour penned in by 10 huge SUV's with their drivers acting like anyone in anything smaller should be crushed and feeling like I'm an alien in my own native land, I still know intellectually that lots of Americans are kind and generous and these few very noticeable cretins are the exception.

We are far from perfect but a trip to most other countries on Earth show very quickly how amazing the American experiment turned out. We just have so much more to learn and I know that time is required for that evolution. My only fear is we don't incinerate or overpopulate ourselves before that occurs.
