The whole thread is borderline, but the root post is a factual reference to new published space science that has literally out-of-the-box implications.

It's important to let everyone have their small say, so long as they are not proselytising an anti-science or unscientific position. SDAI's comments, while weird and containing SOME quasi-religious babble, also have some value in discussing the history of steady-state vs big-bang cosmologies and people's attitudes to and interpretations of those models. The reader is free to disagree with SDAI, as do I.

The development of the discussion about whether we are seeing a "flow", a "force" or an inherited artefact of the structure of the pre-inflation Universe is useful, imho, for people who do not immediately leap to a full understanding of the implications of the new observation.

Several of the posts there are certainly the wrong side of the line, but pruning that tree would not improve it's aesthetics. It will always be a speculative discussion.
