Pseudoskeptical tendencies...
5) Sadly, he is also an ah which detracts from his message.
Can you clarify, slightly? I'm afraid I didn't quite understand this statement. A typo perhaps?

In any event, whether or not ARRELL is actually a pseudoskeptic or not I can't say for certain, as I don't know the person. However, several specific characteristics of pseudoskepticism have already been displayed by ARRELL in the course of this thread:
* The making of judgments without full inquiry.
* Assuming criticism requires no burden of proof.
* Tendency to discredit, rather than investigate.
* Use of ridicule or ad hominem attacks in lieu of arguments.
* Pejorative labeling of proponents as 'promoters', 'pseudoscientists' or practitioners of 'pathological science.'
So, I understand Jody's impetus to refer to the pseudoskepticism definition.
Though the above are suggestive of a pseduo-skeptical mindset, I don't mean these as an indictment of ARRELL per se, simply as a wake-up call for a slightly higher standard of debate.
