And that your being wrong can always be explained by assuming that you have an irrational bias that leads you to supprt your ideology while ignoring the facts... I really am shocked that you would try to draw a paralell here.

Your predictions about the Iraq war were horribly wrong...
Your justifications for the need of the war shifted as they had to to avoid admitting it was a mistake...
When people here pointed out that this administration was committing crimes you called them hysterical, yet now it is clear that we were right they were comitting crimes...

over and over you have sold out your principles and intellectual integrity to avoid admitting 'your guys' were in the wrong.

I showed you a post you made about 7 years ago renouncing torture as an option, yet a few months ago it took pages of argument to get you to grudgingly and with reservations get back to that position...

If 8 years ago someone had told you that a Bush presidency would mean that our country would be arguing openly that some torture is fine you would have laughed in their faces and called them a liberal partisan alarmist....

You are trying to blame this economic disaster (and make no mistake, it IS a disaster and it is only JUST starting) on FDR! THAT is why I feel no need to take you seriously, or to treat your claims with respect.

The ideology you have tirelessly defended has steered our nation into disasters that will take decades to undo. If you find it so difficult to keep defending their disasters that you want to throw a tantrum and leave- just be honest about it... DONT claim that we just dont get it, and that we are sheep being misled by a liberal media- THAT attitude of yours is the epitome of 'elitist'.
